Frequently Asked Questions
What style of pictures will you take at our wedding?
The emphasis is on unobtrusive pictures that document your wedding day. I keep the amount of time spent on formal pictures to a minimum so that you can get on with enjoying the day.
While photos of family groups can often dominate in traditional wedding photography, I recommend that they are kept to a reasonable number to minimise the disruption they cause.
However, I like to set aside time to produce a stunning set of wedding portraits of the happy couple. I take photographs, as YOU want them, it is your day after all.
To ensure this, I like to meet with the bride & groom before the day to discuss specific needs, pictures required etc
How long will you be there?
I will attend the wedding from the preparations until the first dance and beyond. There is also the option of three hours photographic coverage
(please refer to the price list for further details).
Do we have to buy an album?
No, you don't. While I would recommend one of my own albums as the perfect accompaniment to my style of photography, I recognise that some couples prefer the flexibility to produce their own album from prints.
Alternatively there is also the option of purchesing WALL ART including colour canvas prints/ framed Black & White prints to hang on the wall, which suits the contemporary style of photography perfectly.
Do you take colour and Black & White pictures?
I use the latest high quality Canon digital cameras with a full set of professional lenses to ensure the highest quality colour and Black & White pictures that are printed
using professional laboratories on HD photographic paper.
How do we choose the photographs for our Image Box?
With the advancement of the Internet, it is now possible to provide access to all the images taken during the day via my website. This allows you to choose
the 100 images for your Image Box in the comfort of your own home.
After you have received the 100 Proof photographs provided in the Image Box, you may decide on your selection of photographs for your wedding album.
This system places YOU in total control of your wedding images.
Please note the images for the album MUST be chosen from the 100 images in the Image Box.
If you choose the three hour photographic option you receive 60 images in the Image box
Can we add additional images to the 100 in the Image Box?
You can add additional images to the complimentary 100 images in the image box. These additional images are available at £3 per image,
and the box can hold a maximum of 200 images.
Please note these extra images will not be on your CD if you have chosen a Silver/ Gold package.
Where are you located, and do you charge Travel Fees?
I am based in Tiverton, which provides easy access to cover Devon, Cornwall, Somerset & Dorset. For these areas, I do not charge any travel expenses.
However, for other areas of the UK, a travel fee will be charged.
How do we secure a Wedding booking?
To secure your wedding date I ask for a deposit of £200 or £150 for the three hour coverage option.
Mark Passmore Photography operates a first come first serve policy and cannot hold a date for more than seven days without a deposit.
